‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ Fans Threaten “Not to Watch” After Seeing the Show’s Newest Episode Promo

Sullivan’s Crossing season 4 is officially here—and fans already have something to say about it.

The latest installment premiered on April 20 on the CW, and viewers are majorly invested in those living at the Crossing—especially Maggie (Morgan Kohan) and Cal (Chad Michael Murray) as they embrace a new stage in their romance.

Well, things are getting intense for them. At the end of season 3, Sullivan’s Crossing introduced Maggie’s long-lost ex-husband, Liam (Marcus Rosner). And after the first episode of season 4, it was clear the former couple had a major history.

“Season 4 really said ‘it’s getting MESSY’ 😬,” the caption read alongside a promo for the April 27 episode on Instagram. “A new episode of #SullivansCrossing airs TOMORROW on The CW.”

Fans were not happy to see Maggie and Cal’s relationship tested.

“I decided not to watch anymore after the first episode. A love triangle? Come on, Maggie. What are you doing to Cal?” one person lamented. “Don’t do this to Cal Maggie, please. He is the best that could happen to you. 😭,” another agreed. “Cmon guys.. really 😢 poor Cal,” a different follower added.

As Morgan shared with Swooon in early April, Liam’s presence will have an effect on Maggie’s relationship with Cal.

“I mean, for Maggie, it’s a shame,” she told the outlet. “She’s finally getting grounded in their relationship. We’re getting to see Cal and Maggie settle into that version of their life and really moving from a rooted place. I think it definitely throws a big wrench in it for Maggie and for Cal, too, because he’s a very supportive, kind person who wants to see the best in everybody. So I think, no matter how strong anyone’s relationship is, it’s gonna throw a couple of feelings in there, you know?”
