When Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson got into Regis University in Colorado, she had a lot of planning to do. Although she was given a scholarship, it was not enough to cover her time at the college. She asked Mama June for the money that had been put away for her, but she spent it on her addiction. Alana’s sister, Pumpkin Efird, was determined to make this all happen, so they headed to Colorado and even looked at homes. Additionally, Alana’s longtime boyfriend, Dralin Carswell, would be coming along and living with her.

It was not easy finding a place, and many wondered why she did not stay in a dorm. She explained that it was hard with the name recognition she had. Moreover, she wanted safety, and it is likely Dralin could not have come along. Now, Alana is sharing a peek inside her Colorado rental home, located in Denver, near her school. It is a small, white house with brown trim and a burgundy door. Parked in the driveway is Alana’s pink Honda, which she was gifted as a graduation present. She has since upgraded to a Lexus, but clearly keeps her old car for nostalgia.

The house boasts four bedrooms and two bathrooms, and is 1200 square feet. It is believed that the couple does not live alone in the quaint home but rather with roommates. There were several cars parked alongside Alana Thompson’s pink Honda, one belonging to Dralin. It appears that an older gentleman lives with Mama June’s daughter, as he stepped out to smoke.

A Big Moment

Moving to Colorado was huge for Alana Thompson, as her family was nervous to watch her go. Even Mama June and Pumpkin Efird were scared of her living so far away. As for Alana, she was hesitant because her sister, Anna Cardwell, was sick and she did not want to miss a moment. Furthermore, Dralin Carswell was in legal trouble, so it was unclear if he would be able to tag along. He was allowed to go with her, which made Alana extremely happy. However, they have had to return to Georgia to deal with court proceedings. Alana has been thriving in college, getting on the Dean’s List, and has been accepted into the nursing program. It looks like everything turned out for the best.
