‘Sullivan’s Crossing’ Season 4: Chad Michael Murray, Morgan Kohan navigate secrets in Maggie’s past with Liam

Recap of “Sullivan’s Crossing” Season 4, Episode 3, including detailed spoilers

The love triangle between Maggie (Morgan Kohan), Cal (Chad Michael Murray) and Liam (Marcus Rosner) continues to be complicated in Sullivan’s Crossing Season 4. In Episode 3 of the season, we see Cal discover that Maggie hasn’t been entirely honest with him about the circumstances of her annulment all those years ago.

The episode begins with Maggie reassuring Cal that she “hasn’t heard a word” from Liam in years. And while it’s been a long time, it may not have been as long as Maggie has been letting on.

So here’s how Cal found out more information about Maggie and Liam’s relationship.

The couple agreed to ensure that even while Liam is at the Crossing, they’ll make time for each other, starting with a nighttime picnic to watch the Aurora Borealis, which will be visible in Timberlake and the surrounding areas.

Leading up to their romantic evening, Edna (Andrea Menard) decides that the arrival of the northern lights is her sign to get back to work, and it doesn’t take long for her to be a sounding board for both Cal and Maggie.

Cal sees her first and admits to Edna that Liam at the Crossing is bothering him, particularly after he saw that he has that wedding photo. But Edna reminds him to focus on getting Maggie’s divorce filed, so Cal and Maggie can move on with their lives together.

A little later in the episode, as Maggie has been particularly overwhelmed trying to run things with Sully gone, she’s excited to see Edna back at work. But she also quickly opens up about how Liam being at the Crossing is impacting her, and her relationship with Cal, just as the necklace that Cal gave her breaks. Maybe it’s a sign of things to come, but Edna reassures her that everything will work out.
