Big Brother teases a mysterious new season – a major surprise awaits fans!
A former Big Brother winner has social media buzzing this weekend. The BB23 houseguest teased fans with a post that hinted at a winter Big Brother season.
So was he teasing a hint? Or was he only trolling his followers? It could go either way, but as previously reported by Tea on TV, CBS may roll out a new Big Brother season this winter.
Big Brother winner teases the fans
Xavier Prather from Big Brother 23 posted, “(Win)ter is coming” to his X page. He added several emojis, teasing that people should keep their eyes peeled for something this winter.
Sure, it could mean anything, but when a former winner posts stuff like this, fans notice. And notice they did. Many responses have begged for more information.
“Don’t play with us like this X,” wrote one fan with an angry GIF.
Another fan posted a GIF of Jennefier Lawrence asking, “What do you mean?”
Other fans were concerned about what a short winter season could entail. Host Julie Chen Moonves and Big Brother 13 winner Rachel Reilly have discussed having an all-winners season. The hitch would be that many former winners are pretty busy with their lives, so it might require the season to be shorter (like during the winter).
“If it’s a shortened season, I think that’s a travesty. The best of the best have to duke it out in old school Big Brother. No short season, no twists. May the best winner be the first ever two time Big Brother winner,” pleaded another fan.
A winter season could be fun
If the show’s producers put together the right cast, a winter all-winners season could be lots of fun. It would give CBS something to air against the Winter Olympics, and it could keep people engaged by presenting fast-moving action.
The alternatives to an all-winners season would be either Celebrity Big Brother or more Reindeer Games. Xavier participated in the first season of Reindeer Games, but maybe he would return as a co-host or elf this winter.
