Matt Turner reveals his surprising transformation after The Amazing Race – and the secret behind his stunning weight-loss journey will leave you curious.

Big Brother alum Matthew Turner just shared another update in his weight loss journey. Matt appeared on Big Brother 24, where he was known as Turner to the other houseguests.

Since his time on the show, Matt has gotten married, and then he went on The Amazing Race with his new bride. On The Amazing Race, Matt struggled with the physical activities, spurring him to get in better shape.

Turner joined the Big Brother 24 cast as a thrift shop owner from New Bedford Massachusetts. He did well that season, finishing in third place after Monte Taylor won the final Head of Household Competition.

Monte took Taylor Hale with him to the end, but it was Taylor who was named the BB24 winner. Taylor was also named America’s Favorite Houseguest on a season that featured Joseph Abdin, Alyssa Snider, Michael Bruner, and Terrance Higgins.

From The Amazing Race to a weight loss journey

“This months scan. Down 40 pounds from June. Also from 25%+ body fat to 9%,” Matt posted on a photo he shared to his Instagram Stories.

“Insanely pround of that progress,” he added with a picture of a scan showing he was down to 160.9 pounds.

This news served as an update to something that Matt had previously posted on X.

“Thanks for the love on our elimination last night. Getting home was a wake up call to get my ass healthy again. Ran that race at 200 lbs, and if I’m ever asked to be on another show, I’ll show up as my healthiest self. Happy about this progress #tar38,” Matt wrote on X.

His post, shared below, also featured before and after pictures, showing how dedicated he has been to getting healthy again. His hair is also gone in an update to his looks.

One fan asked if Matt would be growing his hair back out, to which he responded, “No sir.”

The Amazing Race Season 38 airs Wednesday nights on CBS. Matt Turner and his wife, Megan Belmonte, were the third team to be eliminated. Previous episodes are available for streaming on Paramount+.
